Today is the 100th Birthday of Girl Scouting in the US -- Emily is a 3rd-generation Girl Scout and proud of it; I was a Girl Scout, a Leader and am currently an Independent Scout Mentor, and my mother was both a US Girl Scout and a Girl Guide in the UK. We are not a dyed-green all-scouts all the time family, but it's obviously been an important part of our lives. Happy Birthday, Girl Scouts, and here's to 100 more great years!
I'm so happy you're back on your blog! I was thinking about you recently--we've been watching some Yo Gabba Gabba episodes on Netflix Instant Watch featuring your animations... Love that Girl Scout picture!
Great to see you again!! I've missed you! And am so happy to see you blogging again!
Love the posts. We're GS too. Have you seen "the first Girl Scout film produced in 1918 and shown in theatres across the country entitled The Golden Eaglet"? We've watched part 1 with our troop as part of our 100 year work. Girl Scouts was VERY different 100 years ago!
